Çalım is a football quiz where your rivals aren’t only racing you. Correct answers earn çalım tokens, and you spend them to make their turn harder: blur the question, swap it for another one, or steal seconds off their clock.

Open a room, send the five-letter code to your friends, and everyone plays at once. Not a turn-based quiz app — a live match.

Share the code and people join from a browser or the app. A friend arriving on your invite link doesn’t even need an account — a nickname is enough.
You build the match
Pick which of the ten modes to play and in what order, then set the difficulty. The final round is always worth double, and a tie goes to sudden death.

“Çalım” is the move you beat a defender with. Here it is the same idea — spend a token and break someone else’s game. Each move is aimed at a different moment — and if they read it, the çalım backfires on you.

Ten game modes
Every mode has its own rhythm and scoring. Build a match from the ones you like — these are the same rules the game shows you in play.
Top 6
One question, six hidden answers ranked by difficulty — the obvious ones are worth the least, the rarest are worth the most. Players take turns in a fixed rotation: every guess hands control to the next player, so naming a fresh correct answer scores its points but still passes the turn; a wrong guess, a repeat, or running out of time also costs a life
Guess the Footballer
Identify the hidden footballer. Every guess is a real player — matching attributes turn green, and arrows show whether the target's number is higher or lower. Fewer wrong guesses score more, and the first to crack it grabs a bonus
Duel
A head-to-head duel league: one player picks a country, the other a club, and you race to name a footballer who is from that country AND played for that club. First correct answer wins; a wrong answer eliminates only that player — the duel doesn't end, so the opponent plays on until the clock runs out. Every pair meets twice; the league leader takes the jackpot
Pixel Reveal
A pixelated footballer portrait sharpens every 10 seconds — guess early for big points, but a wrong guess costs a life and jumps the image forward on your screen. Three lives per card, three cards per round
Journey Man
A footballer's club career path is revealed one club at a time, oldest to newest. Recognize the journey and name them — the fewer clubs you need, the more you score, and the fastest solvers grab a bonus. Three lives per question, three questions per round
I'm Legend
Guess the hidden career as clues drip in — the earlier you call it, the more points, and the first to solve it gets a bonus. Hold out for certainty and the reward shrinks with every clue
Reflex Round
Back-to-back questions against the clock — the faster you answer, the more you score, and the first to nail each one takes a bonus. Hesitate and you bleed both points and time
Common Enemy
The current leader becomes the Enemy and everyone else hunts them. One shared question, and the pool grows every second — beat the Enemy to the answer and you take it straight off their score. But if the Enemy answers first, they survive and double the pool. First correct answer ends the round
Bullseye
Estimate the number — closest guess wins, spot-on earns a bonus. Play it safe near the pack or gamble on a sharper number to steal the win
Ordering Round
Put 5 items in the right order — every correct position scores, and a flawless run lands a big bonus. One wrong guess and the perfect-order bonus slips away
How to play
Four steps from signing up to your first çalım.
Open a room, or join one
Whoever opens the room is captain. They share a five-letter code or an invite link, and everyone lands in the same lobby.
Build the match
The captain sets the number of rounds, the modes and the difficulty — and whether çalım is switched on at all.
Answer together
Everyone gets the same question at once. Speed and accuracy both score, and in most modes the first correct answer takes a bonus.
Spend your tokens
Correct answers bank çalım tokens. Pick a rival, pick a move — their screen is yours for a few seconds.
Common questions
- Is Çalım free?
- Yes. The whole game is free, and there are no in-app purchases.
- Do I need an account to play?
- If you arrive on a friend’s invite link, a nickname gets you straight into the room. A free account is needed for rankings, your friends list and the card album.
- How many people can play?
- Between 2 and 8 in a room — a quick head-to-head or a full eight-player match.
- Is there a mobile app?
- The iOS app is on the App Store. The browser version is the full game too, and you can add it to your home screen and use it like an app.
- Where do the questions come from?
- More than 1,300 hand-written questions, plus player puzzles generated from real transfer and career data. Players can suggest questions as well; every suggestion is reviewed before it goes live.
- Can I play on my own?
- Yes. Daily Kickoff is a solo run of the same questions for everybody, refreshed every day, with your friends’ scores on the same screen.
