Is Çalım free?
Yes. The whole game is free, and there are no in-app purchases.
Is there a mobile app?
The iOS app is on the App Store. The browser version is the full game too, and you can add it to your home screen and use it like an app.
Do I need an account to play?
If you arrive on a friend’s invite link, a nickname gets you straight into the room. A free account is needed for ranked, the leaderboards and your friends list.
How many people can play?
Between 2 and 8 in a private room — a quick head-to-head or a full eight-player match. Ranked matches are always four players.
Do I need friends to play ranked?
No. You queue on your own and three opponents near your level are found for you. All it takes is a free account.
How is my rank worked out?
After every match you gain or lose RR based on where you finished among the four players and how strong they were. Beating a field rated above you pays more, and losing to one rated below you costs more. Each rank is 100 RR wide, and your first rank arrives after five placement matches.
Where do the questions come from?
More than 1,300 hand-written questions, plus player puzzles generated from real transfer and career data. Players can suggest questions as well; every suggestion is reviewed before it goes live.
Can I play on my own?
Yes, in two ways. Daily Kickoff is a solo run of the same questions for everybody, refreshed every day, with your friends’ scores on the same screen. Ranked is a solo queue too — the opponents are found for you.
The match is on your phone
You’ll be playing inside a minute. Ranked needs nothing but a free account, and the Daily Kickoff is there while your friends are still joining.
