Privacy Policy

Çalım is a football trivia game developed by Safa Yıldırım. This policy explains what data is processed when you use the Çalım mobile app and the calim.io website. Questions: safayildirim54@gmail.com

Data we collect

• •Account data: your username, a secure hash of your password, and your chosen avatar. If you sign in with Google or Apple, the email address that provider returns.
• •Gameplay data: match results, scores, per-round statistics, rank and leaderboard standing, daily streaks, and achievements.
• •Social data: your friend list, friend requests you send and receive, and your online status.
• •Contribution data: questions you submit, and feedback or reports you file on questions.
• •Notification data: if you enable notifications, your device push token, platform, device identifier, and app language.
• •Technical data: your IP address recorded on username changes and moderation actions, plus standard server logs.
• •Guest play: if you play without registering, a temporary guest record (nickname + avatar) is created and deleted automatically after your session.

What we do not do

• •We use no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
• •We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• •We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

Why we process it

To create your account and keep you signed in, run matches and gameplay, keep leaderboards fair, moderate community content, send notifications if you opt in, and prevent abuse.

Sharing

• •Data is stored on our own self-hosted server infrastructure.
• •Notifications are delivered through Apple (APNs) and Google (FCM).
• •If you sign in with Google or Apple, authentication happens with that provider.

Retention and deletion

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent — your account, statistics, friends, and rank are removed. So that other players' match history stays consistent, past match records are not deleted, but your name and avatar are stripped and you appear as a "deleted player". You can also request deletion by writing to safayildirim54@gmail.com.

Your rights

Under GDPR and Turkish KVKK you have the right to access your data and to request its correction, deletion, or restriction of processing. Contact safayildirim54@gmail.com to exercise these rights.

Children and parents

Çalım is rated as suitable for all ages. We collect only the minimum data needed to run the game; we show no advertising and never use data for advertising or tracking. If you are a parent or guardian and want to review your child's account or have it deleted, write to safayildirim54@gmail.com and we will action the request. An account can also be deleted from inside the app at any time: Profile → Settings → Delete account.
